October is School Safety Month

October is safe school month.  It's such an important topic that we're posting this flyer that was sent out a few weeks ago.  Please review and contact the office if you have any questions regarding school safety.

Call for Volunteers for 10/26 Halloween Dance

Friday, October 26th will be our Halloween Dance.  Last year's was a terrific success, thanks in part to our great volunteers!

At the event, each grade level will have a booth and we need volunteers to sign up for quick, one hour shifts.

One of our Haynes parents, Julie Kertes, has set up an easy way to sign up - through the Sign Up Genius site. Just visit the site, select the grade level and time in which you'd like to volunteer. It's that easy. Thanks in advance for helping to make this event a success.  See you there!

Hallow-Grams on Sale Now-30th

Hallow-Grams On Sale Now through Oct 30th. They are 50 cents and on sale at the lunch tables during lunchtime and afterschool.

They will be delivered to the class rooms on October 31st.

Just a reminder that our October PTO Meeting is Tuesday 10/16 beginning promptly at 8:00am.  The agenda has been posted to the website.

Hello Haynes families,

If you've visited our website in the last few days you may have noticed an Amazon banner on our homepage.  It's part of an exciting program where our school can earn money when you shop at Amazon.  And it's super easy.  

All you have to do is this - each time you shop at Amazon, stop at our homepage first haynescharter.com, click on the Amazon banner, then shop as usual.  A portion of your purchases will be donated to our school by Amazon.  It doesn't affect the prices you pay and you don't have to do any extra steps at Amazon's site.  We encourage you to ask friends and family to do the same!
