Thank you to everybody who attended Movie Night September 16th! We hope you had an enjoyable evening, spent some time with old friends, and had a chance to meet some new Haynes’ Families.
There were an estimated 275 people in attendance, we went through close to 200 hot dogs, and served around 400 bags of popcorn. Everybody also enjoyed great 5th grade goodies and other drinks, candies, and snacks.
We would like to thank all of our volunteers. From those who helped setup and cleanup, to our 5th grade volunteers who served desserts, to our food sales crew, everybody did an amazing job. We would especially like to thank Sean Leo for supplying the largest screen we have ever used for Movie Night and the projector to fill it, as well as George Schaffer for helping Sean in setting up the screen. We do apologize for supplying him with a scratched DVD, and will ensure the next Movie Night, next spring, does not have technical difficulties.
Volunteers are what make these great events happen and we need every parent to be involved in some manner this year. Please volunteer for at least one event or job, small or large, to help make this an amazing Haynes Street School year.
